Privacy Policy
Esoma AG is responsible for the content of this website and for data protection. The protection of your privacy, and specifically data protection, is important to us. In this statement, we explain how we process personal data.

Esoma AG
Römerstrasse West 49

Switzerland
Phone: +41 32 365 60 00

2. Legal Bases
This privacy policy is based on the Swiss Data Protection Act (nDSG). If the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is applicable (e.g., for visitors from the EU), we also comply with its provisions.
3. Processing of Personal Data
What is personal data? This includes all information relating to an identified or identifiable person (e.g., name, email, IP address).
Server Log Files When you access our website, our provider automatically collects information transmitted by your browser (server log files). This includes:
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Time zone difference to GMT
- Content of the request (specific page)
- Access Status/HTTP Status Code
- Amount of data transferred in each case
- Website from which the request originates
- Browser, operating system and its interface
This data serves the technical stability and security of the website.
Contact Form and Email If you contact us via the contact form or email, the information you provide (name, contact details, message) will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your inquiry and for any follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.
4. Cookies
Our website uses cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device.
- Technically necessary cookies: These are necessary for the operation of the website.
- Analytics Cookies: These help us understand how visitors interact with the website (see section "Google Analytics").
You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies, to allow cookies only in individual cases, or to generally exclude the storage of cookies. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
5. SSL/TLS Encryption
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content (such as inquiries you send to us). You can recognize an encrypted connection by the browser's address bar changing from "http://" to "https://" and by the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar.
6. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services on our website. In doing so, data (such as your IP address) may be transferred to the servers of these providers. These servers may be located abroad, particularly in the USA.
- Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited. If you are located in Switzerland or the EEA, Google Ireland Limited (Ireland) is the provider. For data transfers to the USA, Google relies on standard contractual clauses and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework. We have activated IP anonymization. This means your IP address is truncated by Google before storage.
You can prevent data collection by Google Analytics by using appropriate browser plugins (add-ons) provided by Google.
- Google Fonts (Web Fonts)
To ensure a consistent display of fonts, this site uses so-called Web Fonts provided by Google. When you access a page, your browser loads the necessary Web Fonts into its browser cache. In doing so, your browser connects to Google's servers, which informs Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address.
- YouTube
We embed videos from the YouTube platform (provider: Google). When you visit one of our pages that has YouTube embedded, a connection to YouTube's servers is established. This informs the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.
7. Data Disclosure Abroad
We generally process data in Switzerland. However, since we use services such as Google (USA), data may also be transferred to the USA. From the perspective of Swiss data protection law, the USA is not considered a safe third country per se. Data transfer therefore takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards, in particular the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission (which are also recognized for Switzerland) or the "Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework".
8. Your Rights
According to data protection law, you have the following rights:
- Information: You can request information about whether and what data we store about you.
- Correction: You can request the correction of incorrect data.
- Deletion: You can request the deletion of your data, provided that no legal retention obligations (e.g., accounting) prevent it.
- Withdrawal: You can withdraw any consents given at any time.
To exercise your rights, please contact us at the address mentioned above (info@esoma.ch). The competent supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
9. Amendments
We may amend this privacy policy at any time without prior notice. The current version published on our website applies.
